Feature
Document search
Search keywords across your library—cross-language included.
Study with your own course materials
Find information across the PDFs you can access, including recognized text in scans and figures. Scope a search to a course folder or selected files to keep unrelated materials out of the results.
How to use it
- Choose the folder or PDFs to search.
- Enter a term, phrase, or concept.
- Use keyword or semantic search depending on whether you need an exact term or related ideas.
- Open the matching page and check its context before using the result.
When it helps
Locate a theorem across a semester of lectures, find a definition you remember approximately, or search for a concept using a different language from the slides.
Limits and review
Search depends on document parsing and access permissions. Poor scans may affect recognition; a semantic match is not proof that two statements have identical meanings.
Paid AI tasks deduct US-dollar AI balance based on actual usage. Ordinary reading and note editing do not use AI balance. See pricing and free features
Example prompts
- Scope: this semester's folder → search: math (slides with「数学」show up too)
- Scope: all PDFs in MATH201 → search: Bayes theorem
- Scope: 3 selected lectures → search: supply and demand
FAQ
Can it search text inside images and scans?
Yes. Text inside slide images and scanned pages is searchable too—not only text you can copy and paste.
Does cross-language search work?
Semantic search can surface related slides even when your query and the slide use different languages—for example math vs「数学」.
One PDF at a time?
No. Scope a folder or multiple PDFs and get ranked hits in one search.
