What does not use AI balance?
Reading PDFs, handwritten annotations, editing notes, and organizing files do not deduct AI balance. Currently available free chat models also do not deduct balance; check the app for model availability.
How are paid AI tasks charged?
AI balance is denominated in US dollars. PDF parsing and translation, lecture overviews, paid-model chat, AI note editing, live interpretation, and study tools are charged by actual usage, rather than a fixed credit per page or question.
Document length, page complexity, selected model, and the length of questions and answers affect cost. Balance and usage history show the actual charge after a task.
Pro membership and current prices
Pro includes monthly AI balance and discounts for eligible paid models. The help center explains current plans, usage estimates, and benefits; review the price, renewal period, and benefits shown in the app before subscribing.
