Feature
PDF & slides translation
Upload PDFs and slides—get a translated page for every page, including handwriting, formulas, and text inside figures.
Study with your own course materials
Lecture decks often combine short sentences, diagrams, handwritten annotations, and equations. SlidesTutor puts a translated page alongside the original so you can follow the explanation without switching between a PDF reader and a separate chat window.
How to use it
- Upload your lecture PDF, PowerPoint, or Word document to your workspace.
- Open the document and choose the translation language. Pages are recognized before translation, including text in scans and figures.
- Read the original and translation together. Check technical terms, symbols, and units against the source page.
- Ask a question about the page or capture the explanation in a note linked to that page.
When it helps
Use it to read a course taught in another language, revisit dense lecture slides before finals, or understand handwritten explanations on a scanned page. Keep the original open when working through mathematics or subject-specific terminology.
Limits and review
The current upload limit is 100MB per file. Recognition quality depends on scan clarity and handwriting; translations can make mistakes, especially in formulas and specialized terms. A translated reading view does not guarantee a layout-identical exported document.
Paid AI tasks deduct US-dollar AI balance based on actual usage. Ordinary reading and note editing do not use AI balance. See pricing and free features

Does it handle handwriting, formulas, and scans?
Yes. Each page is OCR'd first, then translated—similar to pasting every page into ChatGPT, but automatic across the whole file.
How large can my files be?
Up to 100MB per upload—enough for multi-thousand-page course packs.
What file types are supported?
PDF, PowerPoint, and Word—typical lecture exports from professors.
